DGI Trading has expanded its cab refurbishment workshop team in response to sustained growth in demand across the mining and heavy equipment sectors. The expansion reflects increased workload, long term confidence in the refurbishment division, and a continued investment in capability, people, and local employment.

The cab refurbishment workshop plays a critical role in extending the life of equipment, improving operator comfort and safety, and maintaining presentation standards expected by modern operations. To support this growth, DGI Trading has welcomed three new team members into the workshop.

Zack Brown has joined the team as an Automotive Apprentice. His role forms part of DGI Trading’s ongoing commitment to training the next generation of tradespeople and supporting long term skills development within the local workforce. Investing in apprenticeships ensures continuity of capability while building future capacity within the business.

Matt McDougall and Shawn Haberfield have joined as Cab Refurbishers, bringing hands on experience and specialist trade skills into the workshop. Shawn is a qualified panel beater and spray painter, strengthening DGI Trading’s in house capability.

The expanded team allows DGI Trading to increase throughput while maintaining the standard of workmanship the business is known for. It also provides greater flexibility to manage complex refurbishments, faster turnaround times, and growing customer demand.
