DGI Trading Australia acknowledges the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak unfolding at an unprecedented pace and is committed to preventing the spread of the virus while maintaining our high level of customer support.
Our key focus is the health and safety of our employees, service providers, clients and the communities in which we operate. Although being advised of our low-risk status toward the spread of the virus, we are dedicated to adapting our operations and procedures to ensure the welfare of our people and our responsibility towards our communities.
Our next priority is maintaining lines of service that remain as uninterrupted as possible for our global client base. Our warehouses contain ample inventory to support ongoing global trade and our head office and facilities remain open.
The situation is changing rapidly and we have implemented the following preventative operational measures:
- We are adhering to Australian Government recommendations for travel restrictions, self-isolation procedures and all other travel limitations. All business and unnecessary personal travel is currently suspended.
- Limiting face-to-face contact and utilising technology to maintain continuity of operations.
- Our employees are aware of and are practicing social distancing within our office and facilities.
- If anyone is unwell, they will be sent home immediately and asked to seek medical advice or call the Government Coronavirus Health Information Line on 1800 020 080.
The key priority of all nations now is to contain COVID-19 and help ‘flatten the curve’ for a sustainable outcome – both health-wise and economically. Second to this, our key priority is maintaining uninterrupted service and remaining open for business through the perseverance and adaptation of our people.
