World First 797 Mining Truck Recycling Program

Overview

In 2018 DGI purchased 4 x 797 dump trucks, recycling them into individual components to serve the mining industry and meet their service exchange requirements.

Weighing in at 252 tonnes per unit, this is the first ever commercial teardown of the largest mechanical drive mining trucks in the world.

These machines were purchased in Canada and shipped offsite into USA where they were broken down into major components and marketed globally.

In this record deal, all recycled components were sold within the space of 6 months from tear down.
